Lijiang, the cute little bungalow where we lived – My Yunnan Trip #10

This is the cute little bungalow where we lived in Lijiang.

There was an attendant who made breakfast for us every morning.  We were a party of six who occupied one bungalow with three floors.  There were four rooms, each equipped like an individual hotel room.  The night scenery in the hotel compound was very beautiful.  There was wi-fi in the main hotel lobby which was a few blocks away.  The attendant ordered a polo car to take us  to the main hotel lobby and back.  After we came back “home” from the hotel lobby, the attendant asked if we wanted a glass of hot milk.  I said yes.  Wow!   It was the best milk I had drunk!

Please enjoy the video, the slide-show  and a gallery of the pictures of the bungalow and the area of the hotel compound.   Isn’t it beautiful?

    • Yes, they are really nice. The main lobby is in the central area like a big hotel with beautiful landscape. The evening scene is very beautiful. Some people call them “villas”. I like to call them “bungalows”. To me, villa is bigger and luxurious, and not as personal. Actually they are like those pretty bed and breakfast in Europe, with no elevator, with only a few rooms in each building. The special feature is the country-style Chinese decor. Travelers who like to appreciate some Chinese cultural experience would love to live here..The attendants have great customer service too. And they cook good breakfast!
